Product Warranty

Pure Light LED Products (Pty) Ltd. carries on warranty obligations, as per each product warranty terms and conditions and provide a 5 (five) year warranty on the luminaires.

Warranty covers rating of L80B10 for all fittings. Pure Light LED Products has the responsibility to provide free service from defects in materials and workmanship, which may lead to failure of the fitting to transmit light.

During the warranty period, if the product fails to perform as described above, Pure Light LED Products entire liability will be repair or replace such defective goods subject to the below:

  • The Warranty Period commences on the date of the invoice.
  • The Warranty Period is given in “Years”.
  • The Warranty Period cannot be extended nor renewed by any further replacing or repairing of the Product.
  • The replacement made by Pure Light, or the Product repaired by Pure Light is guaranteed for the remainder of the original warranty period.
  • The granted warranty only covers Pure Light luminaires as delivered in the original packaging. The warranty is limited to covering the product defect, additional damages are not covered by the warranty.
  • The warranty is only valid for properly stored and installed products operating according to conditions specified in the product datasheet and product technical data.
  • Product failure due to force majeure, fire, civil disturbances, and lightning are exempt of the guarantee.
  • Damage or defects due to the exceeding of permissible temperature limits, switching cycles or voltage values or due to deficient supply network quality (e.g., voltage peaks or over-/undervoltage),
  • The warranty is suspended if the product is repaired or altered.
  • The product may only be replaced with the same or an equivalent product.
  • The faulty product must be sent to Pure Light along with the receipt and postage paid by the sender.
